It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint
“You don’t have to be super strong to become an astronaut,” says Staci Latham, an athletic trainer with the Astronaut Strength & Conditioning and Rehabilitation (ASCR) Program at NASA. Instead, she says, you need to be willing to put in the work, day in and day out, during at least a year of pre-flight cardio and resistance training.
